Gold at Westminster Borough Cross-Country!
Our Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 students represented Westminster City School at the recent Westminster Borough Cross-Country Championships, competing against schools from across the borough.
The boys took on 3km and 4km courses and put in a strong effort throughout, with every single student completing their race and supporting one another across the event from start to finish.
A very special mention and congratulations goes to Armani in Year 9, who won gold and finished as the top runner in the Westminster Borough for his age group.
Miss Kendall, PE Teacher at Westminster City School, said:
"The boys gave a really good account of themselves. Cross-country is demanding, both physically and mentally, and they kept going right to the end. It was also great for me to see them encouraging one another, demonstrating fantastic commitment and mental strength.
"Armani’s gold medal was a brilliant achievement and we are very proud of him, but every student who competed deserves recognition for the effort they put in."
Well done to all of the boys who took part and represented Westminster City School at this year’s championships.
