Uniform

School uniform must be worn at all times, on the way to and from our School, and at School functions and outings.

We expect all pupils in Years 7 to 11 to wear our School uniform, which is both smart, practical and neither expensive nor elaborate. We expect the support of parents/carers in ensuring that pupils take a pride in their personal appearance, whilst at our School and on their way to and from our School l.

We do not allow the following items at any time. Such items will be confiscated and may be returned to parents/carers when they next visit our School.

  • Hoods or hats worn inside any building,
  • Coats worn inside any building
  • Hoodies
  • SMART phones
  • Headphones
  • Trainers (other than in Games or PE lessons)

Our uniform comprises these items, only:

  • Grey trousers
  • Black blazer with Westminster City School badge (must be worn at all times)
  • White shirt with long sleeves
  • Grey V-neck pullover
  • Westminster City School tie
  • Stout black shoes (if laced, they must be black)
  • Black or dark blue/navy coat – the coat must be plain, with no branding or logos
  • Black school bag (bags must be plain or preferably our School’s own design)

PE and Games kit:

  • Black shorts
  • White polo shirt
  • Yellow football/rugby jersey
  • Yellow football socks
  • Black swimming trunks
  • All pupils in Years 7 to 11 must wear our School kit in PE and Games lessons, and when representing our School
  • Black sports bag

There is also a School tracksuit but it is not compulsory to buy one. However, it is the only additional clothing that pupils may wear.

Alternatively, you may wish to purchase your uniform items from high street retailers such as Asda, Marks and Spencer or John Lewis. Westminster City School ties and blazer badges are also available from our School Office, at a cost of £5 each. 


Our Sixth Form dress code is as follows;

Male students – executive suits, shirt and tie
Female students – executive wear (smart business attire)

We do not allow the following items at any time.
