Sports Day took place on Wednesday 3 June at Battersea Park. Despite the wet weather conditions, our students competed enthusiastically, displaying great determination, skill, and sportsmanship. Students took part in a wide range of athletic events in pursuit of the coveted Sports Day House Trophy.

Mr Williams-Parker, Director of Sport, shared the following:

"Throughout the day, students gave their all in every event, cheered each other on, and celebrated both victories and close finishes with grace and good sportsmanship.

"Several records were broken during the competition. Alexandra broke the Year 12 Girls' 200m record with an impressive time of 30.81 seconds. New records were also set in the 300m events. Nortey set a new Year 7 record of 48.00 seconds, while Tyrell established a new Year 10 record with a time of 40.31 seconds.

"One of the highlights of the day was the closely contested Year 7 100m race, which required a photo finish to determine the winner. Jaime narrowly took victory in an exciting finish.

"The Year 10 1500m race was another standout event, featuring an excellent battle between Felix and Eddie. Both students showed tremendous determination and perseverance, pushing each other all the way to the finish line. Felix eventually secured victory with a superb sprint finish.

"A special mention must go to House Dacre, who took home the Sports Day Trophy after a brilliant all-round performance. Congratulations to all participants for their incredible effort, enthusiasm, and commitment throughout the day.

"Thank you to all the staff, students, and families who helped make the event such a success. Your support, organisation, and encouragement truly brought the day to life."
