Year 8 Football Team Triumph Over St John's Wood
Recently, Westminster City School’s Year 8 football team delivered a fantastic performance to defeat St John’s Wood 6-2.
Mr Williams-Parker, Director of Sport at Westminster City School, praised the team’s performance in the following report, saying:
“The boys dominated the first half of the game, creating numerous chances but were kept level by some excellent goalkeeping, going into the break at 2-2.
“In the second half, the team showed great composure and determination, scoring four goals in quick succession to secure a well-deserved and convincing victory. The goals were shared between Hakim, Daniel (2), and Armani, who netted a remarkable hat-trick including a long-range strike that flew into the top corner.
“I couldn’t be prouder of the boys for their teamwork, resilience, and skill throughout the match. A brilliant performance from everyone involved.”
