School Cross Country Competition

9 October 2025

Westminster City School students recently took part in a School Cross Country Competition at Regent’s Park, which proved to be a fantastic showcase of determination, perseverance, and school spirit. Students from all year groups pushed themselves to the limit on a challenging course.

Miss Kendall, Teacher of PE at Westminster City School, shared the following:

“A special congratulations goes to our Year 8 students, who delivered an outstanding performance. In an impressive clean sweep, Rocco claimed gold, with Armani close behind for silver after a fierce battle for first place. Judah wasn’t far behind, securing bronze to round out an incredible trio of podium finishes. Hakim also put in an excellent effort, placing 6th overall and showing great heart and endurance.

“In Year 9, Ayoub powered through the competition to take gold, representing his year group with pride and athleticism. Meanwhile, Felix had an exceptional run in the mixed Year 10 and Year 11 category, finishing first in his year group and 4th overall; definitely a fantastic achievement in a highly competitive field.

“All of our students who participated worked incredibly hard, showed true sportsmanship, and represented the school with pride throughout the event. We are so proud of their efforts and determination on the day. Well done to everyone involved!”
