International Day of UN Peacekeepers

On Thursday 22 May, selected students from Westminster City School and The Grey Coat Hospital had the honour of attending and participating in the annual ceremony commemorating the International Day of UN Peacekeepers at the Cenotaph on Whitehall, organised by the Westminster United Nations Association.
This sombre occasion provided a unique opportunity for students to pay their respects to the 4,423 peacekeepers who have tragically lost their lives serving under the United Nations flag over the past 76 years. Their sacrifice reminds us of the ongoing importance of peacekeeping efforts around the world. We are proud of our students for representing Westminster City School with dignity and respect at this important event.
