On Tuesday 13 May, selected Year 12 students from Westminster City School began their exciting six-week internship programme with MRM, a leading company in marketing, technology, communication and finance.

This initiative provides students with the opportunity to visit MRM once a week, engaging in sessions designed to offer an immersive insight into a range of industries. Throughout the programme, students will develop practical skills, benefit from expert mentorship, and apply their academic knowledge in a real-world context. By working closely with MRM’s professionals, students will also begin to build valuable networks within the marketing, technology, communication and finance sectors.

“After my annual trip to Westminster City School to talk to Y12 students about the MRM annual education and internship programme, it was great to finally kick off in earnest earlier this week.

“Our programme aims to improve young people’s knowledge about financial services and the many exciting career opportunities within it.

“It was a fantastic first session with the students, who were all super engaged and asked guest speakers Edmund Greaves, Paul Thomas and Laura Purkess some thoughtful and thought-provoking questions. We’ve got some cracking industry guests lined up in the weeks ahead who’ll be sharing their own career stories, insights and tips. Looking forward to hearing what they, and the students, have to say.
