End of Sixth Form Journey for Year 13 Students
On Friday 22 May, the Sixth Form team at Westminster City School held a special Year 13 celebration led by the outgoing Student Leadership Council to mark the end of their journey and to recognise how much students have grown during their time at Westminster City School.
During break and lunchtime, students gathered together to sign each other’s shirts and reflect on their time at the school as they prepare to begin the next stage of their journeys beyond Sixth Form.
It was a lovely sight to see students celebrating the friendships formed, enjoying shared experiences and the memories built over their time at Westminster City School.
We caught up with a few of the outgoing Year 13 students who spoke fondly about their Sixth Form experiences. Students shared the following statements:
“I’ve met some of the best people here at Westminster City School, both friends and teachers. I’ve received so much support from the school over the past two years across different departments.”

“The opportunities that you get at this school throughout the Sixth Form, I know I couldn’t have got elsewhere. So much effort goes into informing us about opportunities and work experiences. Some of them I wouldn’t even have imagined existed.”
“It has been fun here because of the friends I’ve made who have been supportive. There have been tough times and easy times which have contributed to where I am today.”
“I've been here for seven years and I can say that Musically, the experience here is unmatched. I've absolutely loved it.”
While this marks the end of one chapter of their academic journey, we hope to welcome many students back in the months and years ahead as part of the Westminster City School alumni community, and we wish them every success in the rest of their exams and what's ahead to come in the future.
