Students from Denmark visit WCS
'Velkommen!'
Towards the end of August, a large group of students who are studying to become English teachers at the University College South Denmark, visited Westminster City School as part of a study trip. This was the university's first study trip since 2016!
Alongside their senior lecturer, the group had the opportunity to tour the school, learn about the operation of the school, the values of the school and the structure of teaching and learning at Westminster City School.
Senior Lecturer at the University College South Denmark, Sofia, commented on their visit to Westminster City School saying:
"Thank you so much for having us! The visit at your school was truly a highlight of our trip to London. The students, but also my colleagues and I, are impressed by how you run the school.
"Your values and approaches inspired us and made us reflect about our own approaches in Denmark. If you could read Danish, I would copy and paste evaluation quotes from the students – I think you would be touched by just how much you made an impression.
"I genuinely hope we will meet again, and I repeat that you are ALWAYS welcome in Esbjerg at our university."
