From next week, our Westminster City School Wellbeing Challenge begins for KS3 pupils, plus our Fun Friday Challenge which is open to all (pupils, students and staff!) across Westminster City School.
Ms Armatage, from our English Department, explains: “I'm excited to reveal that our Westminster City School Wellbeing Challenge starts on Monday 1 February, with different challenges for our KS3 pupils that centre around spending time offline, while encouraging outdoor activity and creative endeavours.
“At Westminster City School, we remain committed to supporting our young people with positive attitudes towards their wellbeing and feel that our School’s Wellbeing Challenge is a great way to do this. Students are encouraged to complete one challenge each day, which they record in their wellbeing assignment on Microsoft Teams. Weekly prizes include a £10 Amazon voucher and three distinctions for the first place.”
Ms Armatage has recorded a video to introduce our Years 7 to 9 to our Westminster City School Wellbeing Challenge, plus a PowerPoint slide to outline the first week of our Wellbeing Challenge.
In addition, our Fun Friday Challenge is open to all across our School – pupils, students and staff! Our first Fun Friday Challenge is to go outside and snap a photo of a natural
object/animal/ creature that you find beautiful. You can be as creative as you like.
Entries for our Fun Friday Challenge need to be submitted by 4pm on Friday 5 February. Pupils and students should upload their photo to their Wellbeing Challenge assignment on Microsoft Teams, while staff can email entries to Ms Armatage.
