Selected Year 11 pupils have been receiving top class mentoring from a source close to home – current Westminster City School sixth formers!
A number of Year 11 pupils have been taking part in an informative mentoring programme with our current A Level students. Our sixth formers have shared tips on studying for GCSE exams, plus advice on choosing A Level subjects and personal insight into life within Westminster City School’s Sixth Form.
Ms Dennis, Head of Sixth Form, explains: “Having recently completed their own GCSEs, and then settled into A Level study within our Sixth Form, our current sixth formers are well placed to offer practical guidance to our younger pupils.
“By undertaking mentoring with our current A Level students, our Year 11 pupils have also built their knowledge of future study options and their understanding of the extra-curricular activities and careers offering available to our sixth formers. Mentoring sessions have taken place within our designated Sixth Form area, thus giving our Year 11 pupils a further taste of life within Westminster City School’s Sixth Form.”
Thanks to our sixth formers for taking part and supporting these Year 11 pupils on their educational journey.
