Schneider Electric Mentoring Presentations
On Wednesday 22 June, students in Years 11, 12 and 13 at Westminster City School and Sixth Form, visited Schneider Electric's prestigious offices to deliver their presentations, located seconds away from Palace Street. These students have taken hold of the opportunity to receive regular mentoring from Schneider Electric's staff.
Michael, who is in Year 12 at Westminster City School's Sixth Form shared his experience saying:
"Visiting the Schneider Electric offices gave me a refreshing insight into the mind of the company. I really enjoyed the ease of communication with the mentors and employees of the company. Despite feeling nervous, the welcoming atmosphere felt like a joint community, which was something I thoroughly enjoyed.
"Schneider’s role in sustainability is something that should be embraced, and I think that it is a great philosophy to bring forward as we advance our technologies and use more energy.
"We all had to give our own presentations after enjoying lunch, and it was a great chance to be able to speak about our future ambitions openly with the group. It has given me the opportunity to think more about my future career path which I appreciate the mentors for so openly sharing their own personal journeys.
"I would say that anyone that is looking into companies, Schneider Electric is a place where someone could immediately feel settled."
