Help the homeless
Westminster City School’s Carol Service at St Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey, is raising funds for deserving local charity, The Passage.
Our School’s popular Carol Service takes place at 5.15pm on Monday 13 December. It is a welcome return for our School community to the Houses of Parliament for this annual event, after our December 2020 service had to move online, due to the pandemic.
Rev Taylor, our School Chaplain, said: “Our Carol Service promises to provide a festival and joyful occasion, with performances by our School Choir and numerous musical ensembles, plus readings. For all within our community, it is a chance to take part in an important act of worship at St Margaret’s Church, as well as a chance to sing some fantastic carols.
“During our service, we are also delighted to welcome a representative from The Passage, a local charity working to end homelessness. The Passage aims to help homeless people leave the streets, return to work and take on a constructive role in society.”
A collection will take place at our School’s Carol Service for The Passage. Members of our School community can also donate via ParentPay.
Our School’s Carol Service is compulsory for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 5 students, and open to Key Stage 4 students who wish to attend. Students can be joined by one member of their family who must register in advance via our website.
