Family members are invited to join Westminster City School’s Carol Service at St Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey, on Monday 13 December.
It will be a welcome return to the Houses of Parliament church for our popular annual Carol Service. Last year, our Carol Service moved online due to pandemic restrictions, with a recording of performances and readings made available to our School community.
Starting at 5.15pm on Monday 13 December, our Carol Service is compulsory for Key Stage 3 students, meaning these students remain on-site at Palace Street for food and Christmas activities, in their form, until the event. Our Key Stage 5 students are requested to make their own way to St Margaret’s Church, while any Year 10 or 11 student, who wishes to join, will also have the opportunity.
Our Carol Service is also open to family members, with space for every student to be joined by one member of their family. If you wish to join our Carol Service, then you must register in advance by completing the form here.
Rev Taylor, our School Chaplain, said: “Our School retains a unique connection with nearby Westminster Abbey and we are delighted to be returning this December. Our Carol Service provides a wonderful opportunity for our students and their parents/carers to take part in an important act of worship, as well a chance to sing some fantastic carols.”
All attendees are requested to be seated in St Margaret’s Church by 5pm. Students will then be dismissed from St Margaret’s Church at around 6.15pm.
