Westminster City School alumnus, Jesurun, made the most of his first England call-up, scoring the final goal in a 6-1 victory against Romania this week.
The 18-year old winger came on in the second half, having never represented England at any age level before, and made a strong impression on new England Under-20s boss Keith Downing.
A talented footballer, Jesurun joined Crystal Palace in April 2021, scoring scored eight goals and set up eight more in 16 games for the U18s. This success meant that he was soon fast-tracked into the U23s, before making his Premier League bow in August, in a match against his former club, Chelsea.
Pictured above, being interviewed after the Chelsea-Crystal Palace match by Palace TV, Jesurun said: “It was a proud moment for me and my family. It was a great opportunity for me; I thank the coaches for helping me to get to this point and I thank the gaffer for trusting me and giving me [the] opportunity to play. Hopefully more to come.”
