Our fascinated physicist
Jason plans to read physics at Imperial College London. He has been at Westminster City School since Year 7 and is completing A Levels in Maths, Physics, and Economics. Jason lives in Westminster.
“As I first joined Westminster City School in Year 7, I was already familiar with the teachers and the school, so it was an easy decision to stay and undertake my A Levels in our Sixth Form.
“Westminster City School staff have supported my aspirations and goals. During my time in our Sixth Form, teachers helped me successfully apply to programmes, such as Realising Opportunities and Sutton Trust, which allowed me to prepare for future university study and gave me an insight to future university life. However, my best memory of the last two years will be our trip to look around the University of Oxford.
“I’ve applied to Imperial College London as they offer a world-class education and have exceptional facilities that will enable me to develop my understanding of the truths about the laws of physics that oversee the world around us. I want to study physics because I believe that there are many things that we have yet to learn and discover, and questions still to answered about the mechanisms of the known universe.”
