Amazing art by young people at Westminster City School is on display online, as part of our Foundation’s annual art exhibition.
Each year all schools within the United Westminster and Grey Coat Foundation take part in a joint art exhibition, which celebrates the artistic talents of young people across all year groups and all schools. Due to the ongoing pandemic, this year’s art exhibition can be viewed online.
Ms Chance, Faculty Leader for Art at Westminster City School said: “Our annual art exhibition offers a fantastic opportunity for work by our young people to be displayed and admired. While it is disappointing that this year’s exhibition cannot take place in real-life, I’m thrilled that the online exhibition has been put together, meaning everyone can still enjoy the brilliant pieces of art that Westminster City School, and all other Foundation schools, have created.”
The UWGCF art exhibitions have been running for almost 15 years, involving participation from all five Foundation schools. Past exhibitions have been shown at the SW1 Gallery in Victoria, the Prince’s Drawing School in Shoreditch and at Westminster City School. This year’s online UWGCF art exhibition is very easy to navigate, with links at the bottom of each page to move between virtual rooms. Visitors are then able to click on each piece of artwork to view it in more detail.
Congratulations to all the highly talented artists involved!
