What is it really like working in the City? How do you start a career in finance? Young people at Westminster City School can find out from two inspirational speakers at our second online careers event.
WCS Insights: Business Brains takes place at 5pm on Wednesday 14 October. Our two speakers from AT&T, a multinational telecommunications company, will provide a fascinating insight into working in finance today.
Talking about her career will be Julie Sahota, who first joined AT&T in 2000 and is currently the Region CFO supporting the EMEA Regional Vice-President and Global Account Solutions customer accounts. Julie has held a variety of roles at AT&T, including finance support for IBM and Shell deals.
Alongside Julie will be her colleague, Sonia Chau, who also joined AT&T in 2000, working in mergers and acquisitions, before becoming finance partner to the marketing team and international ventures organisation. Sonia has now spent 10 years as finance partner to the IBM sales team in Europe and Asia Pacific.
Aimed at Years 11, 12 and 13, this webinar should fascinate those thinking of a future career in the City. Our speakers will talk about their experience and answer questions from the online audience
