Nathan has an offer to read LLB Law at SOAS. He is currently studying A Levels in Business Studies, History and Psychology within our Sixth Form.
“My interest in law stems from a personal desire to help people and a determination to try to overcome any injustice that I see. I find the law to be a truly fascinating subject and feel that there are interesting parallels to, and links with, my current A Level options, which I have enjoyed studying whilst at Westminster City School.
“During my time in our Sixth Form, I have talked to many of my teachers about applying for law courses at university. I am grateful to have received such helpful advice and guidance from everyone at our School, which I was then able to use when making my university applications.
“I decided to apply to universities in London as I want to continue to live at home and save some of the costs involved in being an undergraduate. I am very excited about starting my law degree in the autumn.”
Located in the heart of Bloomsbury, SOAS School of Law is a prestigious institution and the only law school in the world dedicated to the study of legal systems in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. It publishes a number of key journals, while notable alumni include David Lammy MP, a former president of Ghana, and the Iranian human rights activist Ghoncheh Ghavami.
Over 90% of our current Year 13 have applied to start university in September 2020, receiving offers across a range of courses and institutions, both in and out of London. We are exceptionally proud of our young people and, over the coming weeks, will feature many of our sixth formers talking about their exciting journey towards university.
