Janusiya has an offer to read BSc Psychology with Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Leicester. She is currently studying A Levels in Biology, Psychology and Sociology within our Sixth Form.
“I didn’t want to limit my future career options, so decided to research joint courses at university, as these would allow me to study two different fields at the same time. I’ve always enjoyed psychology but I felt that including cognitive neuroscience, as part of my degree, would allow me to continue with my interest in biology too.
“I joined Westminster City School for the Sixth Form and have loved my A Level Psychology. My teacher, Ms James, has given me helpful advice about university courses and I recently went on our Sixth Form educational trip to Vienna, which was an amazing experience to learn more about social science subjects in such an interesting city.
“I’m looking forward to living outside of London, although I think my parents would have preferred me to stay at home! I’m hoping to take a work placement opportunity in my second year at university and, after my undergraduate degree, I would then like to do a Masters.”
The University of Leicester was ranked 25th in the UK in the 2018 Times Higher Education World University Rankings and within the top 200 universities in the world.
