Game for Goldsmiths
Michael has an offer to read BSc Games Programming at Goldsmiths, University of London. He is currently studying A Levels in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics within our Sixth Form.
“I have had a strong interest in games programming for a number of years and, in particular, I have always been keen to learn more about programming languages. When I discovered university courses available in this subject area, it seemed perfect for me. It means I can combine my enjoyment of games programming with a university degree!
“During Year 12, I was given a lot of support and guidance from Ms Adebanjo, one of our Science Department teachers. She encouraged me to attend an open day at Goldsmiths, where I immediately liked the university and felt at home. Ms Adebanjo also helped me with my university applications and I am thrilled to now have an offer to study at Goldsmiths.
“I joined Westminster City School in Year 7, so it will feel strange to leave the School after all this time. Luckily I have made some great friends during my seven years here and I will definitely keep in touch with all of them!”
