Tennis Competition

Year 8 & 9 boys recently participated in the Westminster schools tennis competition at Regents Park. The weather was favourable and we were blessed with glorious sunshine having taken a short bus journey up to the park. The boys were split into teams and competed in a round robin of singles and mixed doubles matches with girls from Marylebone school.

Sergino used his height advantage well by serving the ball at amazing speeds and bashing the opposition all over the court. Michael on the other hand declared... “I own tennis!” after a narrow victory over Rory in their singles match.

Well done to everyone involved in what was a fantastic day’s tennis in lovely summer conditions, let’s hope the sunshine stays around for Wimbledon!
