Sportivate

30 Year 7 and 8 students have been taking part in an athletics participation program for young people in Westminster. The program is called Sportivate and is funded and run by England Athletics. The aim is to encourage athletics participation across Westminster by providing six weeks of quality coached athletics sessions.

The sessions have been taking part on Mondays after school in the Sports Hall from 3.30pm – 4.30pm and  commenced on Monday 16th January 2012.

This has been a fantastic opportunity for the boys to benefit from expert coaching which could hopefully lead to talent identification at a higher level and a chance to join an athletic club in their area.
