Design and Technology A level students attended a one day workshop at the London Design Museum and our students represented themselves very well. The day comprised of two set tasks - one analytical and the other a design and make challenge - a trip around the museum exhibits and a presentation from a contemporary designer guest speaker. The day was enjoyed by staff and students alike and our students received plaudits from the museum staff and guest speaker for their creativity in the design challenge. The visit was part of the unit 4 coursework portfolio which was a great excuse to see what is arguably Britain’s leading design museum.
