City Slickers

A group of students from Year 12 enjoyed a fantastic day visiting The City at the invitation of The City Brokerage. They were able to visit the Bank of England Museum to hear speakers from Bank of England, Kingston Smith Accountants and T M Lewin.
This trip gave the students the opportunity to develop an understanding and appreciation of the key institutions in The City. It also provided an opportunity for students to develop an understanding of the economic, cultural, historical and sociological dimensions that makes London a world leading financial centre. Most importantly, it enabled them to find out about the exciting opportunities The City affords to those seeking a career in finance.
The students found this a really interesting trip and it is hoped that more will be arranged in the forth coming school year.
