Key Stage 3

Key Stage 3 – Years 7, 8 and 9

In the first three years all students follow a common curriculum including Religious Studies, English, Mathematics, Science, Art, Design and Technology, a Modern Foreign Language, Geography, History, Drama, Information Technology, Music, Personal and Social Education (PSE), Physical Education (PE) and Games.

All students in Year 7 study French as their main foreign language. In some cases, students may also study German as a second foreign language. This choice is made with guidance from the Modern Languages Department.

In Year 9, Health Education and Careers Education are included in the PSE programme.
