Year 7 Admissions
Applicants must obtain the school’s application form and clergy form which should both be completed and returned to the school with a passport sized photograph attached. Applicants should state under which categories they are applying i.e., Churches Together in Britain and Ireland or other world faiths.
If, as is customary, there are more applications than places, the admissions criteria explained in the admissions policy will determine which boys are to be offered places. The same procedures will be applied when there are applicants for casual vacancies that arise in Years 8 to 11.
Applicants must attend the Assessment Dayat 9.30am on Saturday 1 December 2012 at Westminster City School.
You should expect your son to be here for approximately two hours and he should bring with him a pencil, rubber and ruler. All applicants will be given a non verbal reasoning test and a short English essay to write. Assessment results will be shared between Westminster City School and St Augustine’s High School. If you apply for both schools your son will only have to do the test at one of the two schools.
Contacting the school
To help us deal with all applicants fairly, and as quickly as possible, we would appreciate your co-operation in contacting the school only if absolutely necessary. All the information required can be found at Westminster councils website:
If you would like to visit the school please telephone Admissions on 020 7963 6303 or via email for more information about our admissions process.
Applications received after the published closing date will not be considered until after the initial allocation of places has taken place. They can then be considered for any surplus places and if appropriate placed on the waiting list.
